CAST Imaging caters to organizations seeking to understand and document their application’s inner workings, architecture, change impact, and structural risks. It automatically produces a technical knowledgebase about the application, seen as an interactive map of all its internal structures and dependencies, across all layers and technologies.

Offered as a SaaS subscription or license, CAST Imaging pricing is per application and increases with application’s size (measured in lines of code). Applications comprised only of a single, highly-verbose technology (e.g mainframe, SAP ABAP, PeopleSoft) benefit from a 50% discount on the below rates.

It includes cloud and containerization insights, open-source component risk insights, and mapping of major structural flaws at no extra cost. The application’s analysis always runs locally, behind the customer’s firewall, and no source code ever leaves customer’s premises.

Additionally, the optional Structural Risk Extension (formerly CAST AIP, aka Dashboards) provides comprehensive insights into the structural quality of the application, including its functional size, based on the ISO 5055 and ISO 19515 standards. This extension costs an additional 40% of the CAST Imaging license fee.
